Jessica & A.J.: Engaged – Tulsa Engagement Pictures

I was just shocked to realize I’d never posted these pictures. I was even more shocked to realize that not once had Jessica called or texted to remind me to do so. (ya know I love ya girl!!) Jessica and I actually met a number of years ago when she was working for my friend and photographer Rachel Williams. This summer we met again when she was a guest at Rachel & Sam’s wedding. (different Rachel). I was sooo thrilled when she booked me to shoot her wedding. Jessica is… how do I say this…? She’s a musical theater nerd. Okay, Nerds aren’t nearly as cute as Jessica is. But I can say this because I too am a musical theater nerd. Seriously, the two of us should probably have a slumber party and chat about broadway all night. We wouldn’t ever go to sleep. She’s also a sweetheart, hilarious, and a wonderful mother. And A.J…. the dude is the perfect counterpart to her. And boy does he love her, its so darn cute! The way he takes care of her and her little boy is absolutely precious. What a good family they make. Anyway, I’m getting gushy. Enjoy the pics!! The kid is beautiful. I mean look at him!!! Those eyes will just melt you into a puddle!!

Kelsey & Chad: Engaged – Tulsa Engagement Pictures

Oh Kelsey and Chad… this couple is hilarious! I mean despite that fact that its just gross how good looking they are, they really have so much fun together. Just one look at Chad and you can tell how onery he is, and Kelsey keeps the boy in check! Its pretty funny to watch! Their engagement session was just epic! And there were a couple firsts in it for me. And for someone who’s been shooting engagement sessions for 11 years, that’s sayin’ a lot. But it was a blast! The best part is that Kelsey isn’t stuffy or afraid to get her hair wet (quite literally) and that makes her a ton of fun to photograph!! Can’t wait for their November wedding!!!

I loving refer to Chad as the Tie Guy, cause the dude loves ties. In fact, we almost had a tie tragedy because he didn’t pick a skinny tie for this outfit. But with a little tie surgery, we got it perfect. I’m the MacGyver of engagement sessions.

Karla and Adam are getting married next year and their reception is at the Mayo Hotel so it only seemed fitting that we did their engagement portraits around there. We also headed over to Philbrook, but since I could only pick a few, these were my faves! Ya know its always a good thing when after you’ve booked an engagement session the bride says “oooh yay! Now I get to go shopping!!” A girl after my own heart!! :) (on a somewhat sidenote, I was recently in Abelina’s and they have some dresses that would photograph BEAUTIFULLY for engagement sessions!!) Karla and Adam are completely adorable and I’m so excited that I get to work with them for their wedding. I’m not sure why I get so blessed with such wonderful couples, I just do.
