Brittany – Tulsa Senior Pictures

I had a couple last minute 2010 seniors right before school ended and Brittany was one of them. Brittany brought lots of great outfits and so we spent her whole session wondering around downtown shooting at some great locations. She also brought her Mom and sisters who were equally great. Sometimes people bring family members and I wonder why because they just seem to argue and be annoyed with eachother. But the ladies in this family were fabulous! And while we’re talking about Senior pictures now is a great time to have them taken before we get too insanely busy. I mean… more insanely busy. And October would be that time. So make your senior appointment ASAP!!

Maddie’s Senior Pictures – Tulsa Senior Pictures

Its been a super long time since I’ve posted a senior, so I thought it was high time! Maddie is precious. I’ve had a whole little group of Broken Arrow Cheerleaders this year and they’ve all be absolutely fabulous. (Thanks Morgan J for starting the trend!!) Maddie was no exception. Isn’t it great that Spring is here, ya’ll?? I’m just loving my outdoor sessions. The day that we shot Maddie the weather was once again perfect. She chose a studio and Philbrook session which I think fit her style perfectly. Congrats on your upcoming graduation, Maddie. I’m so glad I got to meet you! Good luck in college! (even if you are going to THAT school… )

Morgan’s Senior Pictures – Tulsa, OK

This is Morgan… she was a blast!! From the moment she showed up for her first appointment I knew I liked her. As we were pulling up to Philbrook, it started drizzling. She didn’t complain at all that we had to reschedule. She was totally into the idea of having absolutely gorgeous pictures so she didn’t mind having to put it off once, or twice. And thankfully, on her 3rd scheduled appointment the weather broke and we were able to do the session. Morgan has this bubbly and funny personality and is immediately likeable! And she can totally work it infront of the camera. I’m so lucky to get such awesome clients. I’m resisting putting up about 20 of my favorite pictures, but I wanted to give Morgan a little peak of the images. This is the best time of year for pictures! You can get great images that look like it’s a spring day, and yet the colors are changing and you can get the fall look as well!

Um yeah. Hi. Are you kidding me??? This is definitely my favorite picture of the week! Loving it!!

Hannah’s Senior Pictures

Hannah was one of my last class of 2009 seniors to shoot. She was a senior at Victory and such a sweetheart! I had a great time getting to know her. We happened to luck out and get both the azaleas and the tulips in bloom. For all you senior girls who want to wait till the spring to have the flowers in your senior portraits: don’t. During the spring it rains… and it rains a lot. And the flowers last at the most a week and its too hard to predict. Luckily, Hannah was fine with or without flowers, she just happened to be the one lucky girl that got them. And know that if you want flowers, Philbrook always has some sort of flowers available anytime until the Winter arrives.

Megan’s Senior Pictures

How can it be that Megan is ready to graduate already? (okay technically, she’s super smart and like actually been done with high school for a long time and is half way through college. But she’s of graduating age!) Megan is my BFF Rachelle’s little sister. And Meg is oh so photogenic! This is actually only part one of the session. We’re gonna go trash one of her formal dresses here in the next couple weeks. Can’t wait for that one!

See! I told you she was photogenic!

Jasmin’s Senior Pictures

Jasmin and I met in February and after talking with her I was so excited when she decided to book her session with me. She actually told me she’d be fine with bad weather on her session day because she’d love to have her pictures done in the rain. Of course on her session the weather was gorgeous and sunny. (ever since then, it really hasn’t stopped raining! Oh the irony!) But I wasn’t going to complain about gorgeous weather. Jasmin is totally ferocious! I had a blast photographing her and she was up for anything! So much fun!!

Hello Miss Fierce! This one’s totally my favorite! I knew it would be as soon as I snapped it!

Trevor’s Senior Pictures

So I’ve photographed 4 of the 6 Nienhuis boys senior pictures. And Trevor is the final one. I gotta tell ya… it made me feel a little old to know this one’s about to graduate. I met him when he was 5 for goodness sake!! The Nienhuis‘ and my family go back a few years. In fact, I used to take trips with their family. To Kansas… Ohio… back to Kansas. Anyway, congrats Trevor on your upcoming graduation! Good luck in the future!!

Emily’s Senior Pictures – Tulsa

ahh… Emily. She likes the color pink. Appreciates Broadway. And is a middle child. It just doesn’t get any better than that! She reminds me of someone fabulous… who is it…. oh yeah! Me!! Emily is sister of Hannah, and niece of one of my BFF’s Christie. She’s great and was so much fun to photograph!

She’s just so bubbly and cute! This is probably my favorite image from the session!

Can I just complain for a minute about how I was robbed of colorful prom dresses? Back 9 or 10 years ago (gasp!) we had dark colors and just a few pastels. And we didn’t get ruffles and sequins. We didn’t get the options of these gorgeous dresses the girls have these days! Robbed I tell ya! Can we please have a redo prom so we can have bright colorful dresses? Seriously!

And you thought you had to wait a long time to see your pictures… Brittany wins the waiting game though. Being that she’s family (poor thing) she had to be pushed back just a bit behind some other clients. I won’t say how long it’s been, but it wasn’t freezing cold outside, and not only were there leaves on the trees, but they were still green. Brittany’s family came down from Missouri (a 6 hour drive) to have her senior pictures made. It’s always great to see family and I was thrilled that she wanted me to do her photos. So we wondered around downtown Tulsa then ran over to the park for a few more images.

On a very serious note, please pray for Coleman Hinkefent. He’s become very ill a very short time and needs a miracle. He’s been in Iraq and was flown to Germany and is in a hospital there. If you have time go read his story here. And lift him and his family up in prayer.

Shelbie’s Senior Pictures

Sheblie was one of my Broken Arrow models this year and recently it was time for her full session. We ran around downtown Tulsa, had some fun with a Corvette, and then headed to the waterfall. Shelbie is a trooper. Not only was she recovering from strep throat, but it was also a little chilly to be splashing around in water. (Note: I did not force her to get in the waterfall. She wanted to!) We got lots of fun images and I’m excited for her to see the whole session.

For some reason these uploaded backwards. Not sure what that’s all about…

On the close up of this shot you can clearly see her goosebumps. Like I said, it was a bit chilly.
