Another favorite part of my job is photographing maternity sessions. (the truth is, is that almost every part of shooting is my favorite. Its kinda why I love what I do. Duh.) Sarah was the PERFECT client from start to finish! a) she’s adorable b) she’s a planner. So when she initially called and we started planning her session I got super excited. I know being a “planner” is an odd thing for me to comment about, but it just made both me and Calista’s jobs just easypeasy. (eta, have I mentioned that Calista is my office manager? Well she is. They’re so long overdue!! Sammi and Josh got married last weekend so its high time I blogged their engagement session! This couple is just adorable. I love them. And I love their moms too! (Hi Ronda and Tammi!!) The best part of my job is getting to know amazing people!! I LOVED their wedding and I’m pretty stoked to show it off, but this will hold me over for awhile! And very few things bring me more joy than when my brides and grooms become mommies and daddies. I just love getting to be a part of their history every milestone along the way. I’m pretty sure I was one of the first to hear about Kristin being pregnant because she was soooo excited for pictures. I love people that get soooo excited for pictures! :) So when she was finally showing enough we went out for some gorgeous early summer maternity pictures. blog1blog2

blog3Then a few weeks later Baby G arrived! He’s such a cute little munchkin!! He’s totes adorbs and did oh so well for his first portrait session!! We even got their other “children” in for a big family shot. Everyone was very well behaved! Maybe its just because I love them as a couple, but I think Kristin and Stefan are extra in love with their little man. They just seemed to be in awe of his sweetness the whole time we were shooting.
