Katie and Daniel’s wedding was held a few weeks ago at Five Oaks Lodge in Jenks. It was such a great wedding to shoot. There was zero stress! Katie was the most laid back bride ever. I was honored that they hired me to shoot their wedding because Katie is a talented photographer herself. No pressure for me, right? 
) The great thing about photographing a photographer is that they’re really into pictures. I had all the time I needed to complete everything we needed and had lots of play time for fun pictures. Katie and Daniel did a great job of personalizing their wedding. There were so many great touches; from Katies dress and hair that fit her personality perfectly to the fact that they served Compadres for dinner. I encourage all brides to make your wedding unique to you. Its your wedding, have fun with it!

Five Oaks has a lot of amazing places to photograph at it. I know I have a few Five Oaks brides for next year so start gathering ideas now.

Katie and Daniel have incredibly talented friends. The band was Fiawna Forte’ and Mama’s Fairway Revue (at least I’m pretty sure that was the Band’s name). Fiawna Forte’s voice was like butter. I could have listened to them all night. Go look them up on myspace. I don’t know if they always do weddings, but if they do, get them before they’re wildly famous. They seriously rock.
D’s Sweet Designs from Owasso did the cake and it was muy delicious. I try not to make a habit of eating wedding cake but this one smelled so yummy I just couldn’t resist.
