Knocked Up

Perry Berryhill was a great photographer friend of mine. He never referred to married, pregnant women as pregnant, but as “knocked up”. (Brian and Erica will back me up on this one, and I know they’re smiling) As soon as I got married he’d say “when are you gonna get knocked up girl?” It wasn’t disrespectful and it always made me laugh. I’ve thought about changing my “maternity gallery” and calling it “Knocked Up” but I think some people might be offended.

My point being, is that this is Tera. And I don’t think she’ll mind one bit being referred to as knocked up. And besides, she isn’t anymore. She gave birth on Monday to a very precious baby girl. (I actually got to see the baby in the hospital! So sweet! I can’t wait till her newborn session) Tera was a blast to photograph, she was way too photogenic!

I have another shot that I love but there’s some slight nudity in it. And I thought it would be a double offense to say “knocked up” and show that image in the same post!
