I knew Coffeyville had bad flooding, but it really didn’t sink in till I saw it. House after house was destroyed because of the flooding. And these obviously aren’t wealthy people that have lost their homes. I was compelled to document what I saw, but I also didn’t want to seem like a gawker.

July 28, 2007 - 8:02 pm - Wow. Im with you. I didn't know how bad it was. You can honestly feel the heaviness of the town through your shots. Great shots. Sad situation.
