Sarah & Dave’s Wedding – Bristow, OK

What can I say about a wedding so great?! Sarah is my mom’s BFF’s daughter. (got that?) And Sarah is probably one of my first, and most loyal blog readers. I knew from the moment she started talking about it that she and Dave were going to have a fantastically unique wedding and I wasn’t disappointed. They sectioned off about an hour for their first look and portrait session and it gave me and April such a great time for creativity! (little hint: the more time we have for bride and groom portraits, the more unique your images will be!) We all know I have a love affair with big open fields and that day I was able to get my fill. The whole wedding was so sweet and sentimental. Enjoy the images! And leave comments if you’re inclined! An onlooker might have thought it a little strange to see April and I trekking down a dirt road with a Maggie Sotera wedding gown. But that’s where the best tree was. All in a day’s work!
Shut up and get out of town!! I love this shot!! Sarah and Dave were TOTAL naturals! Most people don’t just naturally know what to do in front of the camera but these two required little to no posing. And I love this picture. Really really love it. Did I mention I love it?
The bouquet was done by the fabulous Lindi of Bridal Garden by Lindi. If you’ve met with me I’ve probably recommended her. But if you haven’t talked to her yet, go check out her website! Isn’t the bouquet just gorge? I think so!
Heels wouldn’t have been appropriate for the terrain. And every time I’ve seen Sarah, she’s been in a pair of Converses. I love a little wedding personalization!
If only ALL family “formals” were this fun!! How cute is the Hale family? I mean comeon!
Told you it was unique! Having just the family and closest friends made the ceremony very meaningful. And yes, they’re having a big party in October where everyone will come and celebrate.
Thomas, Sarah’s brother, married the couple. He did a great job and had almost all the guests (including me) a little teary.
Sarah and Dave thank you so much for letting me be a part of your day! It really was a great wedding! I hope you love your pictures as much as I do!!
