Scarlett and her hubby came in a few weeks ago for maternity portraits. She had them done at the perfect time in her pregnancy. The key is to do them between 7 1/2 – 8 months. By late in the 8 month and into 9 months most women just aren’t feeling their most beautiful, and usually can’t move around too well for portraits. And I’ve had more than one maternity session cancelled because of early labor. So the sooner those sessions are booked the better. But back to Scarlett. She was lovely and so much fun to photograph.
This is my favorite image. And it has nothing to do with my passion for the color pink. Okay well maybe it does. But I just love everything about it. And seriously, how fabulous is her hair?
…again with no pictures of my subjects looking at the camera. I do take those shots, I promise. I just like the feel of these.
