It’s no secret that I LOVE the Huey family. Like, love love love them. Piper’s older sisters, Hayden and Callie, also used me for their engagements, bridals, and wedding photos. So of course when I saw that Piper had gotten engaged my fingers were crossed extra tight in the hope that I’d get to work with their family again. Getting to be a part of weddings for an entire family of brides is an amazing honor. Piper has found an awesome man in Trent and I’m thrilled for both of them! The only unfortunate part is that Piper is the last of the girls to get married and that means I won’t have another Huey wedding to look forward to. (And now I’m depressed.)
When I arrived at Philbrook for their session, it was pouring rain. We didn’t have the option to reschedule anytime soon because they both live out of state so we had to make it work. While rain is far from ideal, we can make it work if need be. So we broke out the umbrella and started shooting. Within minutes the rain was cleared, and shortly after that the sun was out. The biggest miracle of all is that it wasn’t even humid but absolutely gorgeous! Basically, they got incredibly lucky and it made for a gorgeous and memorable Springtime engagement session!

Holy fancy Nancy, is she not gorgeous?!
