Its time for the Tulsa Wedding Society’s 3rd annual Gives Back auction event. This party is so much fun and all the proceeds go to the Little Light House. Last year we raised $15,000 and we’d like to exceed that this year! This is a charity that is near and dear to our hearts. A lot of you don’t know this but Calista’s middle son (my nephew) was born blind. We immediately got him on the waiting list for Little Light House and started to find ways that we could help them out. Through, literally, a miracle of God his eyesight has been healed the point where most people don’t even realize he has a disability. So we didn’t end up needing LLH, but we fell in love with them and what they do.

What I especially love about this event is that brides are able to do some serious shopping for their weddings and are able to write off those purchases. I mean… that is WONDERFUL.

The complete list of what everyone is auctioning is not quite up yet, but I can tell you what I’m doing. 🙂
First we are auctioning an 1.5 hour boudoir session with a custom designed 20 page album. We have teamed up with Styles by Hailey Wheeler and she’s doing a full hair and makeup (and beyond) treatment. The value of this is $1075.
Secondly we have teamed up with Primp Hair & Makeup Studio to offer a Girls Night Out for 5 ladies. Full hair and makeup and a special photoshoot with me. I feel like this would be an awesome way to start out a bachelorette party! The value on this is $1000.

I promise that this evening is a blast! So bring your fiance, mama or best friend and have a fun evening out and get some wedding shopping done!
